Is the IIs designed to go up against the Canon 60Da or is the filter stronger than that?

Why do they show their high-spec camera with a low-spec SD card?

I don't really understand what effect the omission of the 'filter' creates. If I was upgrading my K7 (as a fairly amateur photographer), would I be better off with the K5II, or K5IIs?

Regards

If you shoot in jpeg, don't get the IIs. The moire patterns can be dealt with in PP fairly well from raw files, but not very well with jpeg as too much information has been discarded in the processing and compression.
You can't doctor up the stew after the extra ingredients are thrown away.

After a few weeks my K5 showed a lot of dust and pollen underneath the display. So I had to send the camera back for repair. I read, that some people had this problem. The above picture of the K5 II seems to show that Pentax has changed the construction of display integration. Maybe they changed the lens release button mount also. This was the second reason why I had to sent my K5 back for repair. Both would be minor changes, but I think good ones. But no reason to buy a new K5 ;-)
