How to set k5 to fit the Sigma 17 70

I just shoot some pictures(shinny day outdoor) with default settings of the camera body, and found the color of the photos were much disappointing.
and i adjusted the white balance, but still not satisfied. the color is light and tend to yellow compared with photo from my kit lens da 18-55 wr.
So anyone use this Sigma lens? and how do you set your camera to output a more Pentax-like photo?

Shoot a raw photo, open up in the Pentax DCU, tinker with the custom image settings until you get the right WB, and then save those settings in your camera

You have to do it manually through the custom image page, so that the little diagram matches what you ended up having on the PC.

Nice, Thanks a lot Adam. So If I understand it right, I have to change this custom image setting every time I switch lens right?

You are able to keep your custom settings for this lens as a custom user setting on the mode dial.

Easier than trying to explain here, see page 227 in the manual titled "Storing Frequently Used Settings"

Once you have the settings you like for this lens, and have saved them in one of the user mode setting - for example "user mode 1" (which you can rename if you like), then all you have to do is turn the mode dial to "user" and select "1" or what you renamed it to.
