If your camera is on a tripod, activate the 2 second timer so SR is automatically disabled and mirror lock up is enabled to help reduce vibration from inside the camera. Using a remote or wired trigger can help even more (I use both the 2 second timer and a remote to fire when using a tripod - at least most of the time ).

Oh absolutely agree! I have a K20 also and do miss the SR switch on the K5
