Thanks for opening a thread like this, Adam
Hmm, what I'd like to see:
AF comparisons with K-5/C and K-30:
- with lenses f2.8 or faster, both wide and telephoto
- subjects in close distance, like the lined-up dolls done before for the K-30, both in good light, tungsten, and poor light
- comparative instances in which the cameras would start using the AF assist beam
- AF-S: speed/decisiveness at high ISOs (night/indoor) : ideal to simulate concerts/churches/corporate seminars
- under tungsten lighting
- AF-C: subject tracking, from near to far and v.v.
- AF-C: subject tracking, panning from one side to another
- multiple AF point selection: consistency of the camera (especially in portraits) to choose the right AF points
- Live View
Also, a comparison of the K-5 IIs screen vs. the K-30, indoor (with fluorescent lighting) and outdoor, in bright daylight
Lastly, if you could record video and find out if the horrible clicking sound from the K-5/C is still there... thanks again!
