hi jonk..fantastic shot there... we have alot of buzzards here which I am trying to get some good shots of..

I was thinking more of this kind of bird shot. A very high risk of moire I would think.

I would think there is a real risk of interference with feathers. Here is a k5 shot to illustrate, note this lost a lot of detail in upload

hard to see on this shot/resolution--but is their moire from the K5? also it seems on the duck pics there could be a problem if they filled the frame more?

i have the sparrow printed on 81/2 x 11 in full resolution and the difference between print and posted image is amazing. the posted image I think is badly degraded by the uploading filter and compression.

it is really a shame

I will try to post a tight crop at 100% resolution for you to see, and note that the original here was JPEG to start
