K5 extended bracketing

Hello,

I have just being experimenting with exposure bracketing using my K5, a feature I have not used before. I have the bracketing set to 5 exposures with activation by remote.

I understand that the aperture / DOF needs to remain constant, but the K5 automatically changes aperture with each shot.

I have the camera set to Manual so am puzzled as to why the aperture is changing. The first exposure is at f11(as set) the next changes to f8 and the next three to f5.6 (widest aperture on Sigma 10-24).

Can anybody suggest how I resolve this?

Thanks.

Go into Rec Mode menu -> e-dial programming -> M mode, and set the Green Button function to Tv Shift. (By default it's set to "P-Line".)

Just use aperture priority mode instead of manual. In that case the aperture will remain fixed and the shutter will be changed accordingly (underexposure/overexposure).

What I would like is the Apature and shutter speed to stay constant and iso change. My e-dial was set to P.

Also for shooting AV what should the e-dial be set at?

Thanks

Try bracketing in TAv Mode and let us know how that works out. (I don't have my camera with me, so I can't try it myself.)

K5 extended bracketing

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I was that I was using TAv while using bracketing. When I shoot AV 1/6- , f 9.5 Iso 100.
Bracket with TAv 1/60 at f 9.5 iso 100, 1/90 at f11, iso 100, and 1/45 f.8 at iso 100. (middle, darker, lighter).

I wanted to keep the 1/60 at f9.5 constant and change the iso.

(e-dial programming -> M mode, and set the Green Button function to Tv Shift. is set)

Thanks
