Linking Spot Metering to AF Point

Hello,
I would like to ask, why is it not possible to link Spot Metering to a selected AF Point in Hyper-Manual mode. I think it could be faster to make a shot, but the option does not exists in the menu (it exists only for the Multi-Segment Metering).

What's your opinion, please.

It would only be faster when you focus on the same spot as you want to meter on, but in my experience the spot metering is hardly ever used that way.

Thanks for reply, but I don't understand why is it hardly ever used. I am often using it. For example: I am focusing on a off-center face, so I would like to have a correct exposition especially for the face.

I'd also like that functionality. Shooting concerts, I often select a non centre focus point for composition and am using spot metering. It would be very useful to be able to focus and meter on the person's face using the same focus point instead of having to meter and then compose.

That's how I always use spot metering.
