All of them FS! Love the blooms the most, but they are all excellent.....don't care much for moon shots, personally.......Otis complained about #2, he said it scared the little blind orphan squirrels....you know better than that FS...was it on purpose?

Otis did some editing on his stamp for this post.....

Showing off her new winter coat! She said it's cashmere, but I don't really believe it?

Peanuts can make you happy!

FS- I told Otis that his reduction in your award probably hurt your feelings and you might never come back here again? That upset him tremendously and he said he would make it up to you by fattening up Stubby Squirrel and shipping him to you for use in one of your gourmet meals. That seemed a little extreme, but Otis said..."I have plenty....thousands, millions, too many to count. I won't miss him, he eats too much anyhow."

Do you want him frozen or freeze dried?

Regards!

Otis told the little blind orphan squirrels it was a big mean spider.

Great shots siva.ss.kumar, 2 and 3 are my favourites.

Thanks for the story Rupert, I'll buy a bag of peanuts and shove them into the nooks and crannies of the trees opposite the apartment.
That is ofc if my Senegal allows it, all peanuts are property of him, like my dog who would come running at the sound of a coke can being opened (not sprite, 7up, Tab, or dandelion & burdock) he can tell when a peanut enters the house
But I love the doves and the squirrels, especially the last one.

FS, great shots, love the crustacean.
And my 18-35 1.8 DC HSM Art arrives next week!! yay!!
I had some real issues with the Sigma 150-500, arrived, would not focus or change aperture, returned, new one arrived, camera would not recognise it, returned, refurbished arrived, DOA...
Crossing my fingers that this one does not pose similar issues.

The Park across the road...

Cheers

Thanks Leon! Yes, get yourself some peanuts for the squirrels and have some fun!

Otis swears that is not a crustacean,it's a huge spider. Otis says FS will eat anything!

Lucky guy! Look forward to seeing what you do with it!

That is a horror story! I've heard similar ones, but not that bad. Good luck, if you can get a good one it's worth the hassle. My new 50-500 HSM OS is doing fine......I don't think it's as sharp as my old Bigma, but it's close enough.

I like your park shot.....very serene...I see you already have some snow. I hope we don't see any snow this winter....I only like viewing it onscreen, not in my yard!

Here is a squirrel story for you.....

I was in my shop yesterday and cleaning my chainsaw for some work I have next week on some brush. I fired it up to check it out and when I turned it off Otis was squealing out across the Woods of Otis that I was preparing to cut down all the trees. I looked out and every squirrel in the woods was hugging a tree......

Tree Hugger

Regards! & Happy Thanksgiving Day to all that celebrate it!

That's good news !

Your shot has too much noise for 200 iso, or it was severely underexposed, or your camera has a problem...

Your truck is overloaded Rupert ! What a horrible story, for squirrels

Just guessing.....f8 might not have been the best choice...or shooting in TAv might have yielded better results in the noise arena for Leon? I find that my K5IIs overexposes in TAv unless I back off the EV around one stop.

Squirrels demand a full load! Yep, nothing Otis likes better than to strike fear in his Army Squirrels...keeps them on their toes!

Hi FS, Yes, very bad light.
TAv Handheld 1/30 was the longest exposure I could get without blurring.
Increased the exposure 2 stops in lightroom, that's why there is too much noise.
I'll give it a go tomorrow on a tripod and try to get more light in, does not help that I am south facing.

I find that when shooting snow, in bad light the camera suffers from a little snow blindness,
I attempted with TAv 1/30 F4 800, and it just did not look right, the white ground and the "tree" were completely blown out and the rest was dull and lifeless...

Thanks Rupert, hopefully you can get some of the protesters safely removed.

Cheers

Leon
