Just back from Yucatan, where we had a terrific time exploring Mayan ruins among many other things. Here are greetings to Otis from one of the lords of Uxmal.

Otis thanks you...but not very much! He asks if that monster is really as big as the clouds?

Actually, he jumped under my desk when I pulled that up.....he was in here begging for more cold beer this summer for his Giant Army.

Excellent shots FS....as usual! The first and last are my favs! So cute little birdies, both of them! Otis still worries that you made gravy of that little yellow bird????

Love those, sort of moody....very nicely captured!

Not much shooting here lately...been covered up with various "duties"...you know how it is sometimes.

A squirrel caught by surprise...

A Jay that beat the squirrels to it......

Chilly and raining here...ugly...but it will be over tomorrow and warm up nicely with sunny skies!

Regards!

Thanks FS, for kind words and another fine set of your own. A few pictures of Pelikans, and amazingly graceful bird in flight and a bonus photo (I was on the beach with a 300 mm lens--that's my excuse anyway)

I was unaware that one needed an excuse to photograph lovely young ladies... or were you talking about the birds?

Many thanks for kind encouragement, Rupert! Here is a mixed selection of photos from the Yucatan, with another bonus shot as a special favor to Otis (who should be assured that Pelicans have never been known to eat squirrels).

More fine shots from you JVA.......I loved all of them!

Otis loved one in particular, and thanks you for it...but has some advice.....He said it appears the lovely girl was in the process of disrobing and that is no time to stop shooting...switch to continuous high speed and "let 'er rip"!

Regards!

Many thanks, Rupert! Of course I'm still more pleased that one of my images found favor with that most refined and discerning of all judges, Otis.
