I love that shot! Wonderful.......come back and post more!

FS All of those! #2 & #4 are my favs, some excellent processing there as well as in the others, but these two stand out for my eyes.

Otis? Well, he is just thankful there is no damn Canon in there! Apparently he loves them all too!

Here is a shot that I really liked...but could not nail the focus in time. MF is so hard on the Bigma when you only have a second to focus.

Never a problem with the squirrels....you offer a peanut if they will "freeze" and they will freeze every time..... as long as it takes!

Regards!

Exceptionally fine set,FS. I liked the 'filmic' landscapes, and was very intrigued by the geometrical pattern at the bottom of the boat or punt in the last shot but one.

Thank you ! It is an Alsatian traditional boat, the pattern are there to hold the boards together

I totally missed the boat...that's because I am not all that observant. Otis says I have one of the smaller squirrel brains, and it is old and mostly worn out anyhow.
Now that I see it, it is an nice shot and an unusual boat....I did read the linked article. I can still read...a little!

Regards!

Thank you Rupert !

Here is the original shot

Removed the antennas and cables, replaced the clouds with a blue sky and giving some light and contrast in Topaz Clarity and Topaz Texture Effects...

FS- You did a great job with a very good shot by processing it superbly. Both have their value, both are most worthy. Getting rid of the wires and such also made a big difference.

Agreed! Here are a few shots I took over the weekend, the first moment in a very hectic period I've been able to get out with a camera, which gave me a much needed chance to relax.

Me too...in particular the last BW.

This MF shooting wide open with the Bigma is really getting to me. I can't get more than half of them in focus. Here are a couple from yesterday that were half decent. Squirrels are complaining too...they say they are not as sharp as they need to be.
Otis says when I get the K1 I can strip out the EXIF and still post here in the K5IIs thread, all I have to do is lie. I told him I don't like that idea, but he said "What's the problem?"

They get little attention, but I have a lot of tiny sparrows here and they deserve a few shots once in a while.

They claim the "Big Birds" get all the attention....

My good friend old Norm had the audacity to say (in another thread) that my Bigma bokeh was lousy....what do you think? I think he is jealous because even though he gets better squirrel shots, his own squirrels up in Canada like me better!

Regards!
