Working with the K5IIs with the Legendary Pentax FA*200mm f/4 ED MACRO is just so much fun...

The Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 has also been keeping me occupied:

A bit of night work from New Orleans

Here is a shot I took in the French Quarter of New Orleans. This little house is the object of my desire. I would dearly love to own it. The French Quarter of New Orleans has hundreds of these little houses and the back streets of the Quarter are great for night photography. This was taken with the K5 IIs and the DA* 16-50mm at ISO 800 f/2.8 1/25s hand held.

I want this camera now. The pictures look so sharp. haha. I should have saved more, and bought this instead of the K-5 II although it is also good.

Good work there Lightbulb, you do very well lighting your macro subjects. As is my habit in the studio I tend to light the cr@p out of my subjects, yet you can achieve very effective images using only one light.

Pentax K5IIs with Sigma 180mm f/3.5 APO EX + 82mm worth of extension tubes - Pentax AF160FC ringflash and supplemental lighting from wireless AF540 and AF360 - 1/180th f/16 ISO400

Don't know the type of plant but it was very interesting. All white color with a bright yellow flower. The picture has no editing other than a slight crop. Love the K5-IIs!
