Thanks Ash, I actually learn a lot from this forum believe me! Those photos were shot with DIY diffuser using onboard flash lol! And yes the Sigma 70 macro is too contrasty and sharp lol!

Here is a photograph of a bearded Iris in my front yard. This is a old variety with a wonderful aroma. I just call them "Grandpa's Iris" because they originally from my grandparents house and I have planted them in every house I have ever lived at for the past 50+ years. I used my K5-IIs with a SMC 55mm f1.8 screw mount lens. I haven't used this lens in years but judging form the results it now has a permanent place in my bag. It was like meeting up with a long lost friend. I have owned this lens for about 40 years. This is cropped from the original.
