This represents one of the first images I took with my K-5IIs about a month ago. Handheld, Five Star 500mm:

Wow! That's a nice crisp clear shot!

I got a few Spanish Doves this afternoon along my cedar fence....

They really are this contrasty...lovely little birdies!

Lovers got crossways?

Regards!

Here is a shot form late last August. I was at Makoshika State Park in eastern Montana. I enhanced the colors a bit. The grey rock is from the Cretaceous Period. The yellow rock above is from the Tertiary Period. The spot where the two colors meet was a very bad day on planet Earth.

Me too!

I might have to carry a huge magnifying glass with me when I got into my backyard, because I never see bugs like that much less try to photograph them ?

Love those FS, the last one grabs my vote! Lovely! Of course, the purple always gets my attention...gorgeous too!

Just on the chance you guys might want to see my big chickens big butt? It's gigantic!

Maybe a male Cardinal that was just in a mating fight? He got roughed up pretty good.

The winner...not a scratch!

Regards!

BTW-FS- If an egg is coming we have some earth shattering news...since the Big Chicken is a rooster! However...in this crazy world, not much would surprise me!

Still pretty ugly here, but at least we had a sunny day in the mid 50's. Got a few snaps in.
