Thanks FS & Leon! We are safe and on high ground, but there is flooding nearby and all across Texas. It looks like it isn't over yet and the worst may be yet to come. The long drought appears to be over, but not the way we wanted to see it end.

Otis is taking advantage of the horrors by selling swimming lessons to little Newbie squirrels, baby raccoons, and little possums. He has even convinced a few birdies that they need to learn to swim in case of flooding......Otis is very persuasive!

Regards!

Otis says he can dye some pink, green, and blue for you...not a problem!

From this morning...a little Spanish dove at ISO 6400 in the low light.

Thanks FS! Otis says he is a "serious minded" leader of the largest Army in the world, but he still like to have a little fun!

Late evening bedtime snack?

Regards!

Fox Sparrow. Although this picture shows him with same color all over, he really stands out when he is among other birds,

I like this sht because it has various __shades__ of the same color.

He is a cute little fellow! Nice shot!

Only took a couple yesterday, I was very busy....and I was lucky to get them since I mistakenly had speed set at 1/60 handheld with the Bigma.

I'll try to shoot some squirrels today...Otis keeps reminding me that people don't want worthless bird shots.....they want handsome squirrels!
Regards!

No one has posted in a day? Are you guys on strike until you can see a handsome squirrel here? I've been busy, but if it is what it takes to get you back posting....here is a couple of squirrels for your viewing pleasure..........

Every tree in the Woods of Otis has a damn squirrel lurking behind it, in it, or high up on it...it's a regular squirrel epidemic.

This little lurking Newbie is named FS......he seems to think it is funny to pop out from behind a tree and try to scare your pants off.

Look at that little smirky look on his tiny face.

OK...You got your daily dose of squirrel...now post something!

Regards!

Just to agitate Otis...here is a late evening birdie shot.

Just got my K-5IIs not too long ago, so I don't have a whole lot of pictures taken with it yet, but here's one that I really like. Taken with my 18-135 WR kit lens.

Sorry, no squirrels...

Nice shot! I can sure send you a box of squirrels, I have thousands! You can't have Otis or FS, but I have plenty of others!

Regards!
