But once she got on her makeup and had a few sips of coffee, it was all better!

An update on little FS and his weight training program.....He is sticking to his diet and has lost 1/2 ounce of ugly belly fat, while gaining 1 full ounce in his gonads, which is fully acceptable if he want to become a Great Leader of the Army of Otis...it takes some real gonads to lead a fierce Army!
I was concerned that his corn consumption was a little heavy, until I found that most of the corn is being carried off into the Woods of Otis where little FS has set up a still and is making some fine corn Whiskey......he's a fast learner of the "ways of Otis"!

Little FS...lookin' good!

Regards!

Great pics guys. Especially FS, he's cute!
Unfortunately I have not been able to shoot as much as I would like to lately.
Working with India in the Morning, Britain in the Morning / Afternoon and Switching to USA in the evenings trying to get a project finished.

Hopefully this changes next week.

Rupert: the 150-500 finally arrived, but would not communicate properly with the K5 or IIs. it would focus, but the aperture would not close...
So sent it back, and hopefully have better luck with the next one

Cheers

Leon

Little FS is a born leader...and I know one when I see one.....years ago I predicted that Otis would take over the Squirrel Nation....and he did!

That is bad news. Please be sure to let me know when you get the next one, I am anxious to place my order, but will wait for your review. I am still considering the Pentax 150-450, but so far it has not shown me it is all that much better than my current Bigma.

I have to ask this question.....If this shot was at ISO 100...like the Pentax samples...had been shot with the K3 resolution instead of my K5IIs would it not rival anything from the Pentax...at substantial savings? I concede there are other factors to consider, like weatherproofing etc, but you won't find me in the rain anyhow!

Bigma 50-500 K5IIs @ 420mm f7.1 1/250 ISO 5,000

Or maybe this one at ISO 6400....reckon what it would look like at ISO 100 like the Pentax sample shots? My bet is pretty damn good!

But the Pentax gives better detail.......really? Reckon what this might look like shot with my Bigma on the K3 at ISO 100 and @500mm instead of ISO 3200 like this one was shot?........Oh...I forgot ...the Pentax doesn't do 500mm!

f6.7 (wide open) @ 500mm 1/125 Handheld...through a glass window.......ISO 3200

I'm sure not knocking the Pentax, it's a great lens, no doubt, but those knocking the Bigma lenses are dishonest in my opinion.

Regards! & Don't forget me when you get the new lens!

Love #1 .....superb #3 also...and that last highway shot is also a favorite...but as usual, they are all excellent!

Little FS is already asking too many questions......things like "Why can't you shoot like FS?" I try to explain that you have better equipment, better lighting in your area, and get lucky a lot more often than I do...but he counters with...."Why don't you just admit, he is a better shooter?" Yep, can't fool little FS, he is a born leader and smart as can be!

Regards!
