Great pictures!
Here's a Moon shot with the Sigma 150-500 plus the Kenko 1.5x tele-extender.

Nice; we clearly see the colour characteristic of Jupiter atmosphere. I'll try with my FA*600 + 1,4 L converter, the results should be better... if the weather if clear

It should be good enough for that. I use it for airplane spotting and Moon shots. It does require some good light but the K5's hi-iso low noise helps a lot.

100 % crop; there is some false color on the wing; sharpness is very high, though (no additional sharpness, used default settings of lightroom)

Gee....look at all that moire on the bird......lol.
I can't wait till I get my k5iis......all these shots in this thread are really making me want to sell my children
So i can quicken the purchase.

My sigma 100-300mm f/4 APO EX DG has been putting in a stellar performance on the K5IIs, though the AF is still a bit twitchy.

F8, 1/250, ISO 80, spot metering and center spot AF.
