No orange carton around to attract their attention. The cats wre more interested in concentrating on the string.. Seem like Cats always love playing with it..

Okay, I know it has been done before, but I was in the area a few days ago and just could not resist. In memory of my uncle, Richard Zakia who was a friend of Ansel Adams. "Uncle Dick" got me interested in photography almost 50 years ago. EXIF data is wrong. I used a manual focus 28 to 80mm Pentax A lens.

He is like Grumpy Cat. It is a genetic disorder that causes it and that is probably why the cat was bullied. It might be a "disorder" but they are really cute!

I set up a couple of flashes on either side of the feeder and got a few shots of a hummingbird. Flashes set to 1/16 power just a couple of feet away. Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 lens at 1/180".

With LR4, and with LR4 and Photomatix. I used a B+W circ polarizer on the old manual Pentax 50 f1.4, and a B+W UV/HAZE MRC on the DA* 60-250. All handheld.

The recent sunny, hot weather has brought out the butterflies. K-5 IIs, DA* 300, f/6.7, 1/500s, -1.5EV brought back +1.12EV in post, ISO200, TAv mode.
