Just got mine but with the weather we have, not much to shoot...but our cat will be a target soon....here kitty...here kitty kitty!!

Photo of my sigma 15 - 30mm taken with my sigma 17 - 70 2.8-4.5. I am amazed at the details even this mid priced lens has

1/160 f4 iso 6400 at 58mm

This was taken with the sigma 15 - 30mm..I am amazed how much faster it focuses then the 17 -70 2.8 -4.5

1/80 f6.3 iso 400 at 30mm

Thanks

Randy

Thanks!
The thing that impressed me the most is they are taken at high ISO... I think it was 3200 in artificial light. So far I have found having the EV at +.7 keeps the noise lower without over exposure.. Not sure about outside yet. It is a big learning curve compared to the k10 but with some time it is going to be my best investment by far

Thanks again
Randy

Yes it does! The k5iis punches above its weight and it will be a matter of time everybody realises its immense potential.

My pictures are all cropped btw

Haven't had too much chance to use it, but here's one from a walk soon after I received mine.

K5 IIs, FA* 300/4.5 + P F 1.7x AFA (510mm f7.7). 1/250, lens wide open (AFA converts and rounds to f8), ISO 4500, handheld. Shot in jpeg, very mild NR and sharpening in post.

That is seriously clean for ISO 4500.. and seriously sharp for 1.7x teleconverter!
