Cool! PRIC is fast with updates. Where is the +1 button? :-)

Seriously, yesterday I upgraded my k-5IIs to 1.01 and got already two freezes. Both were in the same situation. I tried to focus on something and suddenly focusing stopped, the focus indicator stayed red and the power switch showed no reaction. I had to remove the battery to turn the camera off.

Flashed 1.01 again because I thought something went wrong during flashing. Did not happen again since then. So I am not sure if it is a 1.01 bug or not.

However, if it is a bug then 1.02 fixes it hopefully :-)

See no difference between 1.00 and 1.02 yet. Maybe they cured something that I don't use.
1.01 cured HDR mode.

Just to check.
After the firmware has completed, will the camera turn off by itself?
Mine didn't, and the SD read/write light keeps flashing after screen shows complete.

Waited 5 mins, then finally switch off the camera using on/off switch.
Firmware confirm updated to 1.02 despite above situation.

No. Complete means that firmware is finished.
You should turn camera off by hand. Clear BIN file from SD card in PC and put SD card into camera back.

Now I know my experience is normal

Just updated my iis to v1.02. Tilt-flash overexposure issue has not been fixed.

My K5ii was at version 1.0 out of the shop, I have updated to V1.02, I am assuming that I didn't need to do the V1.01 update too, am I correct?

Today I had alsoa freeze with my iis and fw 1.02. So this bug seems not to be fixed yet. It is a little annoying.

Am I the only one with this problem?

No. I've had it freeze twice on 1.01 and so far once on 1.02. Seems to be an introduced bug since it was flawless on 1.00
