Tv Mode

I'm wondering why my shutter doesn't expose where I set it to expose in Tv Mode?

Yes, iso Auto. I mean I want to control the shutter speed so I turn the mode to Tv. But when set at say 1/60th it might actually expose at 1/30th of a second.

In Tv it should shoot at whatever you set it do. Does the exif indicate otherwise?

Are you using a manual lens? Lenses with manual exposure can't use Tv mode. They default to Av, and meter and take the shot with wide open aperture, regardless of the aperture ring setting. I'm guessing that's what you mean?

The best way for folks to help (and certainly we do) is for you to post all of the info. Can you post the entire EXIF? Were the shots overexposed by a full stop?
