Well it finally happened. My K10D finally bit the dust. Shutter stopped working (shutter count 83704) and the timing could not have been any worse. Just set up and done test shots for shooting head shots for the Roc City Thunder (an Indoor Pro Football team). Ugh had to use a point and shoot to get job done.
So off I went and purchased a K-5, so let the new adventure begin. So many impovements made since K10D. Can't wait to try out with my sports shots.

I am a K5 user,too. Go ahead bro, K5 is much better than K10 in image sensor~
But I still love my K20D, and the photo it tooks

K10D near and dear to me and a great loss, but the new abilities of k-5 will be appreciated

my K10D is near 102,000 releases - that camera is a trooper. Shame to hear yours kicked the bucket, the K5 will be an improvement though.

Let the fun begin my new K-5 arrived today. Some shooting planned for tomorrow. i get to test it out at a school play. Should porform much better then my old k10d. Pictures to follow.

I just got one myself! Arrived yesterday. I have K200D I bought back in '07 and still works well (though there is a small series of cracks in the LCD cover glass bottom corner, but doesn't affect the operation) but I wanted the much expanded ISO range and HD movie capability. Today my Sigma 10-20mm showed up, man what a cool lens!
