So much depends upon what people are wearing. Just a few white shirts or dresses and some dialing down is definitely necessary bounced or not.

This is also my experience using the Metz 52 af-1 with firmware 1.3. Needs -2 1/3 EV when bouncing. Spot on (no compensation) using direct flash.

On the other hand, my Metz 26 af-1 is spot on, both direct flash and bounce. No compensation necessary.

No. I don,t think there has been a fix. I just shoot manual settings and manual flash. I don't know if this is still an issue in K3 and beyond.

As mentioned, my experience is that the Metz 52 af-1 (firmware 1.3) exposes well on direct flash, but needs -2 1/3 EV when bouncing. On a K-S2.
