K5IIs/Tamron 300f2.8/Tamron 2.0 TC

Here is a recent capture with this combo and the 2.0 TC that I just purchased. It is quite sharp but AF in low light and under low contrast is not very good. Pentax need their new TCs soon.

I guess the relatively slow shutter is the reason for the head being slightly blurry, but really nice nonetheless! AF? Is there a AF version of the lens?

Yes there is an AF version of the Tamron 300 f2.8

I thought only Sigma made a current AF 300 2.8 for Pentax?

This is an old lens made > 20 years ago so only available used.
