I was like that, I was happy to keep shooting with my K20D, but I shoot side by side with my wife, and after consistently seeing her images, particularly of sunsets come out way better than mine after a bit of PP we gave the K20D to my sister and got me a K-5. I always thought I'd retire the K20D to my shelf, but in the end, I might have been tempted to use it for something. It's just as good as a K-5 if you have enough light. On sunsets that extra 2 stops of Dynamic Range is just draw dropping when you start pulling stuff out of the shadows.
