My K5 is now at 40,000 clicks! Almost half life already?

Checking my Pentax K5 "click" count today and I realized that I am already getting into the 40,000 clicks or so.
This means that I am approaching the K5 "half life" expectancy ...

I am having no problem with it, so I am wondering what everyone else's count is at the moment.

Curious to find out.

JP

When I see numbers like these I always imagine what their costs would be if those guys were film shooters Thank god for digital.

Just checked my K5 (after putting another 200 on it tonight shooting a softball game) and I'm up to 50,532. Manufacture date was August 2011 and I purchased it new in November of 2011.

I can understand that, I guess.

120000 shots, for example, would probably be enough to fill a 20ft shipping container with 24 exposure film cartridges.

Well I'm cutting back on the amount off images I'm making, but somehow I'm not so good at that.

My K-5 II is almost on 16.000
My K-01 black is only at 1.000
My K-01 yellow is almost 21.000
My K-5 Silver is on 135.500

And then I had 3 black (or regular K-5's) that joint in on a total off 120k images and a K-7 with 62k images. My K20D only made 8.5k.

My K-5 was built 2010-12-09, I had it since February 2011, current shutter count 31990. ( my first one was stained, this one is the replacement after 3000 clicks),
My K-01 after just one year of ownership had just under 5400 shutter

This got me curious. I have had mine since February 2012

Manufature Date 2011:08:24 (is that misspelling IN the firmware or just the tool the check this stuff?)
Shutter Count 36,689

I'm thinking those starscapes for trails or trolling for meteors goes through a lot of actuations!

I still have unorganized boxes of negatives and prints from the film era. If I was shooting film I'd be buried in that stuff!
