Right. Save the money for lenses!

I have an offroad truck (opel frontera // isuzu rodeo in US) and is dusty around here so if i wash today in 2 - 3 days is the same again so i wash only the windows of the car...Anyway the truck looks better dirty..The connection with nature is more obvious..Also once in a while i get little spiders inside, grass and sand...So which guys is more connected with nature? Me or the guy with Ferrari ?

Comming back to pentax world i can't wait for the epic//legendary FF to apear so i can buy the IIs for cheap...FF is way over my head so i will stop in APS-C world..

I *have* been taking one for the team!!!

I now own two Q's and their lenses.
I bought a K-01
I brought my husband back into Pentax with a K30 and bought him his own set of Pentax glass.
I have bought several Pentax lenses since the first of the year.

In some ways I might be keeping Pentax in profit!!!!

All the while gnashing my teeth waiting for a worthy K5 replacement!!!

She needs a Sherpa (or 2) to tote her gear around. She has everything and anything with PENTAX on it. And she mills accesories for her gear herself! Pentax should hire her, seriously.

No kidding! Without you, Pentax would surely be dead by now. At the very least, I'm sure we wouldn't see the full-frame until 2015! Keep it up, I'm sure Pentax appreciates it. I did see the thread on your new DFA 100mm Macro WR. Looks like fun.

LOL.

Pentax - is probably going to block me from their Facebook page - so I doubt they will ever hire me!

I am too honest, and my "delivery" is never within "frilly-acceptable-docile-behavior" for my gender.

I'm "well over the line" when it comes to my enthusiasm for all things Pentax.

Basically it goes like this.

"I'm Lauren. I'm broken when it comes to stereotypes about so many things".

These three lenses are the ones that you simply have to experience on the K5IIs:

Especially the Pentax 50mm f/1.2 - there simply isn't any other 50mm lens in the K mount that is anything like it, and I know my 50mm lenses:

Pentax K5IIs - Pentax SMC-K 50mm f/1.2 @ f/1.2

Now that's just cruel, Digitalis.
But yes, quite true. The 43 Ltd in place of the 50/1.2 is another option.

Well, I just said that I wouldn't do the ii or iis and then I see this. How's the moire issue on non-landscape pictures?
I have shot around 4500 photos and yet to see any noticeable moire.
It just isn't a big issue, IMHO. Both indoor and outdoor, people, landscape, etc
My wife took 1,000 photos of indoor volleyball and not one hint of moire.
I am a very happy camper to say the least. I am happy just for the autofocus alone

Cheers

Don't get me wrong - I think the FA43 is an excellent lens - I use one on my Leica M8, but the 50mm f/1.2 is really in a class of its own.

That's where I think Pentax should revise that lens in a DFA version.

Now that I finally found one for myself, I'm sure they'll do just that.

I was playing around with my K-5IIs and Tamron 70-200/2.8 this evening getting gear ready for soccer tomorrow. I'm really stoked about using the K-5IIs at the soccer game tomorrow.

Anyway, lights off in my office with only the monitor light cycling through my photo screen saver. K-5 will not lock without AF assist light. K-5IIs is locking with AUTHORITY without assist light 80% of the time. It's another OMG moment for me with this camera.

Another thing, are the ISO steps different in the II/IIs than in the K-5 Original? Seems to me there are more steps incrementally up to the max than there were but I already put the K-5 away for shipping.
