Got my K5 back today, all fixed (new shutter box) and no charge. It was just handed back to me with no mention of payment or even of waiving the charges and they didn't call me to authorise the repair so I guess it was so obviously a manufacturing issue that they covered it without question. That is exactly what you would hope to happen, but most manufacturers nowadays seem to put up a fight first.
