The D7100 does not require (or need) a focus lamp either...

The shot where the guy took a pic of Kai in the Karaokay singing is pretty good, compare to the one took by Kai. Kai keeps moving when he sing while the other guy stay still when Kai took his pic. This how how good K5IIs focus is...

Personal experience, K5IIs AF is pretty good, but in shaded area (like in dense woods), it still miss focus from time to time.

All cameras miss focus once in a while. Why do we assume that CaNikon is so accurate? During a recent photo shoot for a magazine, I used my KX and my colleagues used their 7Ds. The magazine chose most of it's photos from my set. Sure the odd photo was better with the 7D but the Pentax was by far more consistent. That was the second shoot for them and the same thing happened the first time with my K200D. The magazine chose more of my photos that time too.

Pentax doesnt have a marketing budget but they need to do something.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all. But give it a month and that video will reach AT LEAST half a million views. Many of them will have never even heard of Pentax before this. It's free marketing from a VERY popular (albeit to the chagrin of some) source.

And they won't paint it - they only do that when the manufacturer doesn't offer that as an option. There's no shock and awe to do it to a Pentax

Nice point there Heie, but in order to attract more newbies into the Pentax system they need also to introduce entry level DSLR like the new K500. Last time when they were introducing K-r
they smashed it (although some minor praise in the end). Pentax is really doing decent and affordable DSLR for new comers and there are more than enough lenses for them (so marketing the number of compatible lenses ain't huge issue).

"I can't help like this camera, it is fantastic!"
"It is also cheaper than that crappy Nikon A"
That is what Kai said about it.

Btw, does the Ricoh GR V have the same AA-less sensor as the K-5IIs?

It is a Sony sensor, 16mp with no AA filter and 12-bit conversion. so kind of in-between the K-01/K-30 and K-5 IIs.
