Pentax K-5 ISO settings, I am puzzled.

Um...I been wondering when people take photos with Pentax K-5, how do they make it 500, 1000 ISO and such?
I have mine set on manual so it skips from 80, to 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, etc. how do I get control between these?

Go into the custom settings, first page I think, option 2. Sensitivity Steps. YOu can choose it as either 1 EV steps (what you currently have) or with EV steps, so it'll have either 1/2EV or 1/3 EV steps depending on your setting for option 1.

Hope that helps!

Plus D FA & FA Limited minus the DA 10-17mm Fisheye. The manual doesn't say anything about it being limited to JPEG.

Another way to get what appears to be "weird" ISO's is so shoot in TAv mode...

You set the Aperture and shutter speed, the camera takes care of the ISO.

It is JPEG only for sure. The raws aren't corrected like that, it's being left to post production instead.
