Been using K-5 since Sept 2011 and now it feels that shutter is louder but not sure if it was ever this louder before. Is it normal to shutter to get louder after a while? Is there a maintenance that I can perform to mitigate? Thanks.

I have noticed that the total camera noise varies depending which lens I have mounted, with WR lenses generally helping to produce a quieter camera. Maybe that is related to your experience.
