Eye-fi update please

Please can someone give me that latest update on using a eye-fi card any brand with a K5 on the latest version 1.14 software?

Is it best to just go raw or raw+? And set jpeg as low res?

I want to transfer to a Ipad 2

Thanks

I use an iPad+EyeFi+K-01 + RAW. It works well enough, if not fast, so my modus operandi is to turn on camera, turn on iOS device, join EyeFi access point, stick phone in pocket and shoot....generally, if I go somewhere (I am not doing action/sport) visiting or touristing, it just about allows me to have all photos on the phone in "real time".

Otherwise, if I shoot without the iOS device turned on, it takes about a gourmet dinner at the hotel restaurant (~1h or so) to dump the card via wifi to the iOS widget.

I've also acquired a Transcend WiFi card, which is slightly faster and slightly more straight-forward to use, alas requires the very latest firmware (of the WiFi SD card) least it's "forgetting" configurations.

Oh, and on iOS, ShutterSnitch beats the native EyeFi and Transcend app's....
