Here you go......modified dread with Braz back and sides, mastergrade euro top. Handmade by a Kohei Fuji a protégé of the late Taku Sakashta who was murdered couple years ago. Kohei lives in the San Jose area if I remember correctly. He had a booth at Healdsburg so you may have seen him there.










Kohei said he will no longer make guitars with fluted bevels. He called Ryan after he realized the fluted bevel was trademarked. He said Ryan just chuckled and didn't seem to really care but Kohei said he felt so embarrassed that he will never make another one again. I've seen other luthiers do different takes on the fluted bevels and I wonder if Kohei will eventually do his own interpretation.

Ooooo. Braz! i told Ryan about this and he didn't seem upset. The one thing that can't be copied are the braces that are computer designed and cut. I remember reading about the murder on Acoustic Guitar Forum.

Do you do alternate tunings? I taught myself DADGAD.
