Will be in Houston next week,and willed to buy new one, adorama and bh are not shiping next week, any ideas how to get one?

Try Houston Camera Exchange. No guarantee but if you call them ahead of time they can usually get what you want. I travel to Houstn from Chile every couple of months and I use them sometimes.

I would not count on Houston Camera Exchange having the K5IIs in stock. My experience has been that they don't stock much beyond CanNikon and the occasional Sony product. You are best to call ahead and have it ordered or order through Amazon and have shipped to your hotel.
