Testing in body stabilization

While I was on the World Wide Photowalk a couple of weeks ago I was walking around with a guy with a D600 and another with a D7000 and we were talking about IS and we decided to see how well they worked I had my Tamron 70-200 n the K-5 and decided a good test would be to take a shot while walking at a steady pace and was really surprised how well it did.

This shot was at 1/100 sec at F7.1 at 70mm while walking at a steady pace

That's rather impressive. I've been pleased with the IS in my K-30, that's for sure.

Nice photo too. 8)
