K-5 IIs RAW settings?

Dear Members,
Please I am interested to know which settings you use on K5 2s for shooting in raw in order to improve my knowledge.
Many thanks to all for the informations and sorry if my request is inappropriate.
Regards.

Unlike when shooting JPEGs, you don't have many settings to choose when shooting RAW. You have the choice of file type (PEF or DNG) and that's about it. Everything else is up to you in post-processing.

Is that what you were asking about?

Dynamic range extension has an effect in RAW. I usually have shadow correction set to low, and highlight correction to on. White balance I leave on Auto and adjust as needed in Adobe Camera Raw.

Many thanks for your answer but please about the AF point what is better to use? Normally I use the matrix but I am not sure that is always the good choice.
Regards and my congratulations for this excellent forum.

Each of the focus point selections has value for a particular use. Many of us think single point is fastest when you have a complex scene where the camera might focus on the wrong spot with multi. Experiment with your style of shooting to find which works best in which situation.
