K5II - Live View failure

Hi, wondering if anyone else has had this happen to a K5II? I went to use the live view function, and suddenly I could feel the camera began to judder. The LCD picture shook and flickered as though the shake reduction had gone OTT and when I pressed the shutter (more to see if it stopped the picture shaking) although it activated, no picture was taken. I tried it with the 18-135, 18-250 and a 50 all to the same end.

I've sent it back to the shop, as luckily it was still under warranty, but have never read of this happening - any thoughts on what happened to the camera?

It sounds like something is out of order. The sensor can run hot in live view, but even so the camera should not behave that oddly.

I've had something vaguely similar happen (K-7) with the front AF switch isn't fully clicked over to 'C'.
