I just noticed the clear protector for the top display for my K-5 II fell off. How do I go about getting a replacement. Or should I send in for warranty repair.

I would send it for warranty.
For at least 1 reason : If you fix it yourself you could void future warranties.

Clear protector?
I wasn't aware there was one. I thought the only protectors for the top and rear-LCD's were 3rd party add-ons that you stuck onto the LCD yourself, like the ones in the pic below.
Or do you just mean the normal glass panel that's on top of the LCD?

Yes the glass panel - sucker fell off sometime within the last week, but I just noticed it last night.

They may be able to send you a part to replace it, but if it is under warranty best to have service do it so in case the WR is affected they would have to warrant it.
