K5IIs/DA 300: Northenr Flicker

Very nice indeed. I find the red shafted variety to have more flavour though...

Nice. I'd love to play with the 300- it seems pretty ideal for birding.

Yes the DA300 is a fine lens although a little short for most birding. Pentax needs the 1.4XTC.

I am hoping the TC will be announced sometime this year but it is hard to predict.
