I have an Adapter AC50. I've seen numerous references to it being ok with the K10D, K20D, K7 and K5.

The AC132 is stated to be the adapter for use with K5II, IIs and K3.

Given that the batteries, the adapter socket on the camera body, etc are the same for the K5 onwards, and that the AC50 and AC132 appear to have the same output, will the AC50 work ok with a K5II?

I've asked Pentax support, but other than saying the AC132 is an update to the AC50 I can't get a straight answer. No specs are available for the AC132 it seems.

Anyone?

I'm interested in the answer too. Just switched from the K-5 to the K-5iis....

JohnX, I did find the following (on Pentax K-5 II Review - Overview)

"Power. The Pentax K-5 II accepts the exact same D-LI90 lithium ion battery pack as its predecessors. The D-LI90 is a 7.2V pack rated at 1,860 mAh / 14Wh. Battery life is rated at 980 shots without flash usage, 740 shots with 50% flash usage, or 440 minutes of playback on a charge -- unchanged from figures for the K-5 despite the new autofocus sensor and LCD panel. For studio shooting, or while offloading data via USB, the K-5 II can also draw power from Pentax's K-AC50 AC adapter."

So, no mention there (or no concern about) the stated difference in both AC adapter and kind of battery (see my recent thread today).
