In Camera Settings for Best JPGs

I was wondering if there are any dedicated JPG shooters out there, if they wouldn't mind sharing what in-camera settings you like to use for JPGs.

I like the user bank settings of the K-5 - and currently have two different user banks set up - one for landscapes/outdoors, the other for people/indoors. I am always looking for other suggestions, input, and ways of doing things, so if anyone would like to share, I'd love to hear it.

I use K-30, which should be similar to K-5. Most commonly I use the 'positive film' setting. It has a high black point and ends up having very nice color saturation as well. For very contrasty scenes I switch to 'landscape'.

I've had my used K5 for almost a year and I'm a dedicated JPG shooter if for no other reason that my family wants immediate copies of the files from the SD card, so I shoot in JPG all the time. I use the default settings, though I feel compelled to change something - I don't know what. When I edit in post, I find myself typically using "clarify" and increasing brightness and saturation a bit, and then finish with unsharp mask. There may be some other edits, but those just mentioned are done almost without exception. I have thought that I should just take the time to set up the camera to do those in camera with the JPG's "as shot".

Here are a couple of my old posts on the topic. They overlap each other a bit.

Apologies for the rerun of old material.
