That's quite nice and quite tempting, too ... J

@dadipentak, will you stop that?! We're trying to get JP out of the thrift shops. You know, more time shooting, less time haggling.

But yes, you do have a point

Just got the battery, grip, and 31 moved over from the K-5 and the menus as settings adjusted to my liking. Taking the kids to my brother in law's place to see their new lab pup and will see how this new AF system works in low light. Focus does seem faster. I'll play with te camera later. Watching the US/Canada game on DVR right now.

Actually yes I did sleep.

Went to bed early.

I had to get up at 4am to go pick up two rudder sections for the Drreamilner at the factory in Puyallup, WA headed for the Dreamilner plant in North Charleston, SC.

Oversize.

Yah, sorry But, make no mistake, I'm always in favor of buying lenses--as in, "Oh, look, it's a cloudy morning--I guess I'll buy a lens!"

Definitely ... take from example my Adaptall-2 zoom collection ... well, then again, maybe that's not a good example J

I think you might have some more examples that shouldn't be mentioned!

The parcel was supposedly delayed by the "bad" weather in Illinois for 3 days. The tracking showed it sitting at a UPS hub near Chicago from last Thursday until Monday of this week. The thing is, I was within 15 miles of the UPS hub in Chicago last Thursday and although it was about 15 degrees out, the weather was sunny.
Frustrating, ain't it. The only thing worse is when YOU can't "get out of Chicago" due to bad weather when as any fool can plainly see there's not a cloud in the sky. What's not so obvious is ya can't see that the wagon you were supposed to ride out of town on is weathered in at its last stop on the East Coast a thousand miles away. As UPS sez, "It's all in the Logistics".

One of the finest examples of unseen weather consequences was on the day Denver's hub at DIA opened with multiple simultaneous instrument approaches and departures (versus the one-at-a-time cue at Stapleton) both airline AND package delays were noticeably and permanently reduced at every major airport across the nation and internationally as well.

(Chain 'em up! But, but . . . It's 60 deg. and sunny just 100 miles west of here in Seattle.)
