Funny ... and glad my wife isn't like that ... but then again, I now "forget" to inform her of things like that ... J

Ruh, roh!

Oh well, there's gonna be plenty of time for you to cool off. And then I'll take your picture!

Careful! I've discovered that improvements in sharpness are not always appreciated by female portrait subjects in my family.

Ah yes, I know.

Although I rarely do photos of people, and most of the time it is candid work, when I do endeavor to make a portrait I draw on the techniques learned from studying the subject. Also, when the time comes to show the work to her, only the best are selected.

Possible solution? => https://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-K-85mm-F2.2-Soft-Lens.html

... or another "soft" ... would love to try one out. J

Updated the firmware from 1.00 to 1.06. Definitely notice the AF improvements in the speed. Haven't had much time to shoot with it to confirm accuracy, but I'm guessing that's going to be just fine. Looking forward to taking shots of the kids running around to see the improvement on moving subjects.

I know what you mean. I was faster to read your post looking for pics than you were editing it. I see the link now.

Nice choice Racer - it'll serve you well. I view my K-5iis as the last APS-C camera I'll need (c'mon Pentax don't make me eat those words).

If you enjoy digital darkroom work like I do, you'll be very pleased with the ISO 80 14-bit raw files - truly splendid!

I know, sorry.

Same thing happened to me the other day. I tried to respond to a post by another member and it was weird because he did like I did this evening, and was editing the post.

Thanks!

And from what I have read it should. Based on my short bit of experience this far it will not disappoint.

Well I do.

So help me find the settings for the ISO 80 14 bit raw!

Bonjour Racer,

Sorry to say this, but you're slacking off bit ... where's your full-blown "gear p0rn" snaps ... we had the beginning of a bed top scene and then you left us there ... just hanging. J

Aw geeze man.

I am ashamed.

I have lost face.
