Was there ever any hard numbers released showing sales number for the k5II vs the IIs?

Manufacturer's guard that data very closely, and generally fire people who release it :-)

You can have an idea by looking on the serial numbers database on this forum

If I remember serial # a re not by model but are continuous at the plantregardless of what it's on the production line

I think we can tell by the lack of the AA filter on the K3 and the more aggressive price reductions on the K5 ii vs. K5 iis that the s probably blew the K5ii away in sales.

My money is on the 5lls, at least that's what I bought a month ago...so that's at least one!

Right now, right here, 11 reviews for II, 26 reviews for s, so my guess is s over II by a 2:1 margin, m/l. The ratings are very close, however, so either is a huge value.
