I have seen the memory card light come on with out turning on the camera its a k5 this happens after it sits for a day and I pick up the camera should I worry

When i put my sd card in the camera when it is off the Light goes on then off.

Also maybe its making a folder for when the next day has happened as all my folders are dated.

Sounds like the card has a bad contact and when you pick it up it makes contact.
Try cleaning the contacts on the card with alcohol.

yes light on sometimes off life problems card in memory door after plugging? this door electronic.
