Dust removal on start up

Own a K-r & Recently purchased K-5IIs ~ When "Dust removal on start" is active I can feel my K-r vibrate .. But can feel nothing on the K-5IIs ..Ddo I have a problem .. ??

I think that's because the K-5 uses an ultrasonic removal mechanism, but not sure, just wait for the opinion of other K-5 users

k-5 and later models use a different system. If you have good hearing and hold the camera close you can hear a faint whine but that's all. On k-x, k-r and others the system could be felt and heard easily. K-5 system seems to work much better than the one on my k-x, almost never have dust bunnies on the k-5, k-5IIs or k-3.
