Yeah. Even if new cameras come, a good camera stays a good camera! Great photo, too

And why wouldn't you? Beautiful shot. Camera bodies will come and go which just makes them easier to buy later.

Great sales pitch for the former flagship! That 16M sensor will never go bad, whatever comes after

Nice photo. Yeah, I love mine also, though I've only had it about a year and I'm the third (at least) owner. Noticeably nicer in many ways than my old K100dSuper, and that camera is no slouch given the vintage. Though the K-5 is now about 3.5 years old, I still consider it capable on a "current" basis. I wonder when the time will come that I don't consider it "current"?

I've had my K-5 since 2011. I'm happy with it. I see the photos...I can't imagine sharper photographs...even those blown up to 8 X 10 or 11 X 14 compared to a friend's Canon 5d2 full format.

Maybe at 16 X 20 or poster size...I might be able to detect a difference. I dunno.

BTW...my K10D...up to 400 ISO and my K-m up to 800 ISO...are pretty darn close.

The K-5 has a very fine sensor. You could print as large as you wanted. I had some gorgeous 20 x 30 inch prints made off my K10D for pete's sake. I'm sure my K-5 will be able to best that easily.
