K-5 and 128GB SD cards

Hi

Does anyone have any experience with K-5 and 128GB SD cards?
I'd like to know they work with the camera before I buy any ...

P.S. Before anyone asks, I need the size for RAW timelapse shooting.

Cause it is sdhc compatible (with firmware update, one of the first released long ago)

But I wouldn't buy one unless for video.

That's a huge potential loss of images if it fails when it's full.

Personally I use a whole load of 4gb cards, that way I wouldn't lose too much work in one go.

I recently thought I was going grand and got a 32GB card to go with K3 because the file size is large - holds of the order of 300 RAW, but I usually do not fill it - I transfer when I get back to the computer. I still have the film mentality of trying to get the keeper before pushing the button. But I do take multiples, but that is only more like film professionals, in case the eyes blinked a the moment etc. My reasoning - find the price sweet spot for capacity based on what the shop is offering while I stand in front of their offer (of course filtering first for quality as perceived by brand and other details provided).

I just tried a few shots with a K-5 / PNY 128GB SDXC card, seems to work fine. I upgraded to a K-3 so I don't normally use that combo.
