Don't get me wrong, I love the 77mm also, the colours it produces are amazing. I think what it comes down to is just the focal length for me on the APS-C. i just don't find that I shoot in that range very often. Whereas I find much more use for the 60-250, in the 60 and 135-200 range.

Oh, that makes sense. I use that FL a lot, so a fast 77 or 85 is my most important lens.

Right now I have the DA 50-200mm f4-5.6 WR and Tamron 28-75mm f2.8. A lot of people down the DA 50-200 but I have found with some in camera tweaking you get respectable results. The price is right on it too at around $250 or less. My lust lens is the FA 77 f1.8 will get that one day. The Tamron is my walk around lens loving what it can do.

You could get a Sigma EX DC 30mm 1.4 and DA* 50-135 for around $1k used if you search the marketplace on here. That would have your normal and portrait ranges covered and they are both fast lenses.

If I had to pick my current 3 faves out of the K-Mount lenses I own I would say FA77, DA50, and Sig 10-20.
