Warranty expires in just three days so i guess i did the right thing.
Hi Apost.

Did you get this sorted out and if so what was the issue. I have a K5 which I'm having issues with the metering. I mainly use M Mode and if I dial in the correct exposure it will take a photo that is way overexposed. I can dial exposure in that show 3 stops under and it is still overexposed. I've had the camera serviced (cleaned) but still an issue. Not sure the guy really knew too much to be honest.

My initial thoughts is the aperture mechanism is sticking ?

If i remember correctly the camera was sent to the hq service center in France.
A month later i got it back along with a letter stating that the cameras metering function is within limits...
Eventually i turned the camera into a permanent ir camera, so the metering does not bother me as much.
Never discovered what was the problem.
Moved to Nikon since.

Your problem is different, try another lens.
Sticky aperture or smthng pops into my mind too.
