K-5 IIs firmware

Hello,

I recently bought K-5 IIs and i have 1.00 firmware. Question is what is improved in general stability in every firmware? Do i need newest? Should I upgrade one by one or maybe straight from 1.00 to 1.07 ? Thank you.

I may be wrong, but have always gone right to the latest. Let's see what everyone else has to say.

Yeah, just install the latest one. The change log for each update is listed here:

All firmware updates include the previous stability upgrades. There's no reason to do every update, you can simply install the latest version. Be sure to follow the update instructions exactly, including the especially important one - Make sure you have a fully charged and healthy battery in the camera when performing the update procedure.

The firmware upgrades varies widely in terms of what it may contain. Generally its stability and bug fixes, however since Rioch has taken over, they have added functionality from time to time. It just really depends.

Just updated it. I was wondering what they mean in "improved general stability". Is there anything hidden or something.. Thank you all.

They always throw in the "improved general stability" note. So far as I know, there's never been any explanation given as to what that actually means.
